Donation Wish List

Thank you for thinking of Blythedale for donations of items that provide entertainment and comfort to our young patients!

As you can imagine, keeping our medically complex patients well is our utmost priority.  Please note that in-person gifts are not being accepted this year.  As we are in the midst of many renovations to the Hospital, we do not have the storage space for items that are used throughout the year.  We hope to accept in-person gifts in the future, and we thank you for your patience as we make improvements to better serve our patients.  With that in mind, we have the following giving opportunities:

Our Wish List Registries are available! These are great for those who may not live in the area, or for those who prefer to purchase items that can be sent directly to Blythedale.

  • The items on the Holiday list fulfill the holiday wishes of our patients, which ultimately help them heal. Click here to visit our Wish List Registry. We encourage donors to give early or on/before December 13th so that we can be prepared for the variety of holidays that our patients celebrate.
  • The items on our Spiritual Care Wish List are to help our Spiritual Care department grow their resources and programming. Click here to visit our Spiritual Care Wish List Registry.  The department is dedicated to supporting patients, families, and staff in navigating emotional and spiritual distress, which can arise from trauma, illness, or other life-altering events.  Items on this wish list are needed all during the year, so if you would like to give to a registry and it is after December 13th, please consider purchasing items from this list.
  • Consider giving gift cards… or have a Gift Card Drive!  Gift cards allow us to easily buy items for our patients during the year, whether they’re birthday gifts or therapy items.  If you are interested in having a Gift Card Drive, please contact Liz DeCecco.
  • In addition to exploring the items on the registry, we invite you to consider making a monetary donation to our Holiday Wish List Fund via the form below.  Your generosity would help fund immediately-needed items, as well as experiences for our patients to enjoy throughout the year.
  • Want to give a very impactful in-kind gift? Please consider holding a drive to collect items for our families in the community. We are a safety net hospital, which means that we do not turn away families who cannot pay, and about 75% of our families are dependent on Medicaid. Click here to see our most needed items, and feel free to focus on one section! We can use these items throughout the year, so no need to rush to drop them off by a certain date.
