William MacGregor is Director of Security for Blythedale Children’s Hospital, a position he has held since January 2021.
In this role, he enhances the Hospital's commitment to safety and security for all patients, visitors and staff by providing leadership for security personnel while serving as liaison with law enforcement. In addition, he plays a key role in the Hospital's emergency management and environment of care programs.
Mr. MacGregor has more than 12 years of health care security experience. Prior to Blythedale, he served as the Security Manager at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Westchester Division. He also has more than 23 years of experience in the New York City Police Department and retired with the rank of Lieutenant.
William MacGregor holds a BS in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport.
