Prad Ananthasingam, PharmD, MBA, serves as Director of Pharmacy at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ananthasingam has 12 years of experience in critical care areas at NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, specializing in neonatal, pediatrics, and medical intensive care units. He has worked at Mount Sinai for five years as the pharmacy manager for their oncology and neonatal services. Dr. Ananthasingam is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. He is also a member of the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists (NYSCHP), The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Medication Safety Officers Society (MSOS).
Dr. Ananthasingam sits on the Premier pediatric advisory committee and is also a clinical assistant professor at Long Island University (LIU) College of Pharmacy. He received his BS and PharmD from Long Island University, as well as an MBA in Healthcare Administration from George Washington University.
