Leah Saulsberry is a Patient Ambassador at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Leah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Prior to coming to Blythedale, Ms. Saulsberry was a bilingual Parent Educator at Boys and Girls Village in Bridgeport, CT, assisting families in need of support and access to community resources. She has used her undergraduate studies and previous work experience to advocate for others and promote equity among those she serves.
In her current role at Blythedale, Ms. Saulsberry works closely with Inpatient, Day Hospital and Outpatient families, as well as the families of the residents of The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Pediatric Long Term Care Pavilion. She is dedicated to supporting each family with information, emotional support, and attention to any need, ensuring that they feel heard and respected as they navigate their children’s health journeys.
