Jeannine Florio, MS, CCLS

Assistant Director of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapies

Jeannine Florio, MS, CCLS, serves as the Assistant Director of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapies at Blythedale Children's Hospital, where she is dedicated to enhancing the emotional and psychosocial well-being of children and their families while promoting resilience and coping. Ms. Florio holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Ithaca College and a master's degree in Child Life from Bank Street College of Education. She has presented at the Charleston Child Trauma Conference on The Peony Project, a program initiated at Blythedale to provide intensive Child Life support for patients who have experienced abuse or neglect. Through her leadership, Ms. Florio aims to foster a culture of compassion and creativity, empowering children and their families to navigate their healthcare journeys with confidence and joy.
