JeanMarie Florkowski, OTR, ATP

JeanMarie Florkowski, OTR, ATP, is a senior occupational therapist at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the Assistive Technology Core Team, participating in multidisciplinary AT evaluations and treatment. She has nearly twenty years of experience dedicated to pediatrics.

She is certified by RESNA as an Assistive Technology Professional, demonstrating her dedication and passion to the area of assistive technology. She has an extensive knowledge in the area of alternate access for both low tech devices and computer based systems. She assists staff with the assessment and training of various modes of computer access, and is responsible for coordinating the daily implementation and function of assistive technologies used for patient care.  

Through continued work and experience, she continues to advance her overall knowledge and practice in pediatric rehabilitation, including specialized knowledge in the treatment of medically fragile infants, and children with neurodegenerative diseases.
