I-Fong Sun Lehman, DrPH, MS

I-Fong Lehman, DrPH, MS serves as the Senior Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Blythedale Children’s Hospital, where she oversees the Hospital’s Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Regulatory initiatives.

With nearly 20 years of experience in quality and patient safety within hospital settings, Dr. Lehman has built a distinguished career in healthcare leadership. Prior to her current role, she was the Director of Research Operations at the Center for Patient Safety Science at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She also served as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, overseeing Columbia Milstein, The Allen Hospital, and Lawrence Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Lehman held the position of Director of Clinical Communities at the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Lehman earned her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Health Policy and Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, as well as a Master of Science (MS) in Health Policy and Administration from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
