Dean Soto, MPA, RRT, AE-C

Dean Soto is the Assistant Director of Respiratory Therapy at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Dean brings to the role over 25 years of clinical, educational and leadership experiences in Respiratory Therapy. He began his career in the United States Marine Corps and his experience includes positions with New York City Emergency Medical Service, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Saint Barnabas Hospital, Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, and Jacobi Medical Center. He received his National Board Certification in Respiratory Care/Registered Respiratory Therapist, his Bachelor of Business Administration from Audrey Cohen College, and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Public Affairs from Metropolitan College of NY. 

Dean is a clinical instructor for the American Heart Association and also provides education and support for families and caregivers through Blythedale’s Patient and Family Education program.
