David Fridkin serves as the Administrator of The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Pediatric Long Term Care Pavilion of Blythedale Children’s Hospital. He has work several decades in acute care and long term care institutions. Prior to Blythedale he opened the first Transition Care Unit on Long Island and served as the CEO/Administrator of Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 19 years. He has also worked in several hospitals as the Chief Operating Officer. He is an active member of several healthcare professional organizations and is the past Regent (Long Island) of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mr. Fridkin works collaboratively with all the departments to ensure the children receive quality care. His expertise is strategic planning, budgeting, performance improvement, and interagency/employee relations.
Mr. Fridkin received his Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College and his MPA Degree from New York University.
