Chana Katz, RN, WCC, is Nursing Supervisor of the Pediatric, Adolescent and Traumatic Brain Injury Unit (TBI) at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Prior to that role, she served as staff/charge nurse for seven years at the Hospital. She has nursing certifications in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Wound Care, while also being an active member of the Hospital’s Wound Care Team.
Ms. Katz previously worked as a staff nurse at an outpatient OB/GYN office and Camp Simcha/Camp Simcha Special, a camp for children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
She graduated from the Nursing Program at Touro College School of Health Sciences in 2009.
Ms. Katz loves her career as a nurse. She feels that working at Blythedale has allowed her to develop a close connection with patients and their families while supporting them through one of their most challenging life experiences.
