Andres Guerrero, MSE is the Rehabilitation Engineer at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the Escuela Politecnica del Ejercito in Ecuador and a Master of Science in Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a specialization in Design and Commercialization.
Mr. Guerrero contributed to the research for solutions in the biomedical, petroleum, robotics and pharmaceutical industries. Through his expertise, Mr. Guerrero was able to expand his designing skills and develop his own projects for the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in the area of robotics equipment with the objective of being used as part of children therapies to improve their mobility abilities, while leading future multidisciplinary engineers to learn designing principles and manufacturing methods.
