Kara Dyer, RN, MSN, CCRN

Nursing Director of Pediatric, Adolescent & Traumatic Brain Injury Unit

Kara Dyer, RN, MSN, CCRN, serves as Nursing Director of the Pediatric, Adolescent & Traumatic Brain Injury Unit at Blythedale Children's Hospital. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College and Master of Science Degree in Nursing at the Sage Graduate School. She is currently an Adjunct Faculty Professor for the Sage Colleges teaching Sophomore and Senior level nursing students in their BSN program.

Ms. Dyer previously worked at a children's hospital in upstate New York where she held several positions, including Pediatric Critical Care Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Manager of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. 

She is a board member and former president of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (Adirondack Chapter) and she is a certified PALS instructor.
